ABOUT Hunt & Gather Restaurant

Hunt & Gather Restaurant, recognized by the Salt Lake Tribune as one of, "10 Utah Restaurants -born amid the pandemic- to Celebrate in 2021" and named, "...One Of The Best In The State" by OnlyInYourState.com, features slow-cooked meals from local ingredients like wild game, fish, stone fruits, organic vegetables and spices along with an assortment of organic goat cheeses from Mesa Farm Market. House prepared sauces, soups and salads as well as house smoked and cured meats round out our seasonal menus which offer creatively dressed plates and bowls to satisfy all facets of the culinary spectrum, including vegetarian and vegan. A variety of house made, seasonal desserts are offered nightly as well as Etta Place Hard Cider from our neighbors at the Etta Place Cidery.  

*Full bar menu, 2 outdoor heated patios, socially distanced indoor dining and take-out available most evenings. Reservations highly suggested, setting is intimate with a focus on smaller parties, 6 or less. 

Careful sanitation steps are taken throughout the evening to assure a safe & healthy environment.

*Although we have a full bar menu, we do not have a physical bar for drinks, prior to being seated.  

It's best to arrive as close to your reservation time as possible, as distanced waiting space is limited. 

 

 Chef Chet Saign has worked in fine French restaurants like La Caille and around Salt Lake City at The Park Café & The Santa Fé. For 28 years Chet worked his way from line cook to owner at the award winning, French New Orleans restaurant, 410 Bank Street in Cape May, NJ. From the ocean to the mountains Chef Chet and his wife & business partner, Nancy, now bring to Torrey, UT, a passion for quality healthy meals, cooked to perfection in a kind and warm environment.
